FLAME SAFE FIRE POLY™ FP75E is an ASTM E84 Class A, UL723, NFPA255 Type 1, ASTM D2898 exterior intumescent flame retardant coating for all wood products, lumber, plywood & building materials. It can be used on all wood species including wood siding, T-111 panels, decks, soffits, facias, fencing, stairs, railings, balconies, paneled wood ceilings, Yellow Pine, SPF, Redwood, Cedar, Douglas Fir, Plywood, and barn wood, and re-claimed wood.

Application

Fire Poly™ FP75E fire retardant coating is water-based, clear liquid that becomes insoluble when dry. Be sure surface is clean and dry before treating. Apply one (1) coat at the rate of 166 to 200 sq.ft. per gallon depending on substrate. Fire Poly FP75E can be applied by brush, spray or roller. Apply with sprayer head held at 8 to 12 inches from surface. Fire Poly FP75E also acts as an ultra violet inhibitor, mold and mildew protector and repels insects. If over coating is intended, Fire Poly FP75E is an excellent surface primer for use under latex paints or can be use as a finished coat over water based stains.
